Millard West Captures Lead Early To Defeat DC Electric T-Birds 18U

DC Electric T-Birds 18U watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 6-1 loss to Millard West on Saturday. Millard West scored on a sacrifice fly by Jackson Wright in the first inning, a single by Trey Wilbeck in the first inning, and a double by Garrett Kennedy in the second inning.

Millard West got things started in the first inning when Wright's sac fly scored one run for Millard West.

Matt Pleiss led the Millard West to victory on the pitcher's mound. He lasted four and two-thirds innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out two. #2 threw two and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen.
